The Academy for Islam in Research and Society has decided to postpone the AIWG International Conference, originally scheduled for September 2020, due to the ongoing pandemic. We have decided to plan the real life event in 2022. However, a number of panels will take place in a digital format between March and October 2021.

The decision to postpone the conference is due to the endangerment of the pandemic and the state-decreed safety regulations.

Details about signing up for each event as well as the respective programmes 

The previous selection of panels will remain in place. The accepted papers and panels may be updated in accordance with the research progress in the meantime.
